By C. Grodi – March 30, 2010 As a teacher, ALL of these cards are invaluable to the teaching/learning process. We've used these in my school from 2nd grade through 8th grade.
Teachers Perspective By B. Rodriguez – April 11, 2010 I was a teacher for two years before my son was born and these cards were so important to the children. It helps the brain relate a word to an actual object. My husband bought me these cards for my students three years ago and I still have them today. I use them with my one year old at the moment. Your baby can read has similar cards for much more expensive. These are worth the buy!
They really teach! By Cathy L. – April 09, 2010 The set comes with cards that have rounded corners (nice) and there is nothing on the card except the subject being taught. I homeschooled my children and used so many of these sets. This particular set was quite a bit of fun for my children. I used this set for pre school and the 1st grade, but I think the 2nd grade would also be appropriate. You also get a large laminated poster and a card for you (the teacher). I think that these would be valuable even if you are not homeschooling because your child will learn, and he/she will enjoy the process and interaction with you. Every other system of this type is too babyish for grade school children. Also, it is so nice that you are able to access a lesson plan!
