a perfect 1st birthday gift By S. wilson stubson – April 30, 2010 My son received one of these for his 1st birthday and its been a hit. In the beginning we would place him on it and drive him all over the house, then he would start putting his toys on it and give them rides. Now at 15 months he gets on it and rides it! we don't have any carpet in our home so he is able to ride wherever he pleased with ease. The wood on the wheely bug is also all sustainable harvested ♥
Great fun for toddlers and their siblings! By Cathy L. – April 30, 2010 My four year old daughter got this for Christmas. Her little sister already had the small sized ladybug that she hardly ever got to ride it because the 4 year old was constantly stealing it--in fact the biggest problem we had with our original one was that the kids fought over it! Adding the second larger one has been great--they ride them frequently (multiple times a day) and have regular parades and races. The bigger size is perfect for the 4 year old and the smaller size perfect for my 2 year old, even my 7 year old gets on the large size a couple times a week and takes it for a spin. They can turn in circles which is great fun and kinder to the cabinets and furniture (they can more quickly turn on a dime to avoid obstacles). They are incredibly sturdy and well made and the little lady bug antena/eyes move and are really cute. A little pricey but totally worth it-they stand up to hard use and are incredibly fun and they do not sit in the closet and collect dust. Is so well made that I anticipate selling or giving them away when the kids eventually outgrow them. Highly recommend.
By A. Bishop – April 30, 2010 My daughter received this on her first "Ladybug Themed Birthday". It is absolutely adorable and you can instantly see the quality in this toy. She dosent know how to use it quite yet, but for now she is enjoying rides by mommy and daddy pushing her around the house ;) I see many years of fun in this toy!
So much fun! By S. Dooley – April 02, 2010 My friend has this and my kids LOVED it! It's easy to ride on, good for young children (as long as their legs can reach) and doesn't take up too much room for a ride-on vehicle. The only thing is that you HAVE to have wooden floors and you need to make sure that you don't have any bumps over the doorways, because it can't go over the bumps and pushing your child over those every two minutes will get old fast! Also, this is really an indoor toy. I don't know if I saw it online like this if I would realize that it wouldn't work well on the street with all the bumps and uneven surfaces, but it really works best inside, which is why I didn't buy one even after my kids fell in love with the one at my friend's house. Our house only has a small section of wood flooring, with not much actual moveable floor space, so they would just be frustrated and wouldn't use it much at all. If you have the right kind of a house, your kids will love it!
Great for slightly older toddlers By S. Kaplan – March 31, 2010 We got this for our daughter when she tuned 1- great toy but not quite for that young. The casters movement made it hard for her to get on & off & frankly, I thought it allowed her a bit too much speed. Now that she's 20 months old, it is a much better toy for her. Great quality construction- I'm sure this will last for a long time. |
