Good for 1st timer By R. East – April 13, 2010 This is a good kit for a person who hasn't made baby food before. The book that comes with it is colorful and informative, but the DVD shares the same information if you are a better visual/audio learner rather than reading. Everything is simple and easy to understand. I liked that they not only have basic information but also include safety/health information on a laminated sheet that you can keep in your kitchen for quick reference. The kit isn't exhaustive but will give you a good start on making your own food!
I bought this set used..... By A. Trihey – April 13, 2010 I have this exact set and have to say that for the price you could find alternative peices for a fraction of the price, The recipes and instructions are easily found on the web. I was a little disappointed but not saying the set doesnt work great, I used it for a year or more and still use it for other projects to this day, (flavored ice cubes for the summer!!) Just think the price is a little high for what your getting but if you dont have the time to research the web and use alternate trays then I say go for it because you baby will benefit from fresh preservative free food!!!
OK By D. Rawls – March 31, 2010 The trays are a good idea and great for making perfect serving sizes. Just remember to empty into a ziplock bag soon after freezing to avoid freezer burn.

I won one of these, and started to use it when I first started making the baby food for my now 15 month old son. It gets you, your first start and then you really just get even more excited with it after starting with this.
